Baconsson & Otto Løfgren at the helm of a freshly upgraded and modified space-craft - this record explores further reaches of the sonic galaxy, with a refined ease.

Modernized navigation, upgraded weapons, and an overhauled engine (powered by high octane prog-metal shred), whisk the listener from one dynamic soundscape to another. Each track is like it’s very own planet, a unique “boss-fight”, or a glimpse into certain moments in space-time, that matter. Long before all 12 tracks have completed, you’re far beyond a casual observer - you’re fully charged and engaged in all of the triumphs and turmoil. The entirety of this journey plays out much like a saga for the mind and ears... sometimes even experimental in nature, just like killer adult science & fiction should be. Diamond Kobra is probably one of the most interesting and unique things to happen to synth music recently, and as the word spreads in 2020 - we're glad to have access to such a cool release!

Diamond Kobra at it's core is B.B. Baconsson and Otto Løfgren, who both absolutely know what they're doing when it comes to creating compelling synth music. The way they've chosen to differentiate their distorted soundscapes and busy arpeggiators is through a Progressive Metal angle, like none heard before!

Apparently, they also have a lot of friends, 12 total guests on this record, which allows something unique to come to each song. It's a bit heady, it lives in a hyper-metal, syth-dunked universe, with nods to great aesthetics, and clever voice-over additions.

It's an absolutely gorgeous looking (and sounding) record, meant for grown-ups.
